Tree & Shrub Warranty

GH Daniels & Associates, Inc. will warranty tree and shrubs planted by our staff for one full year from the date of planting. The warranty is limited to the trees and shrubs that we install in a area covered by a fully automatic operational irrigation system. Warranty covers a one-time replacement for shrubs or trees and delivery only. Labor and equipment will be calculated as additional cost. Warranty does not cover damage caused by wildlife, snow, snow removal, disease and insects, high wind conditions, frost, freeze, ice melt chemicals, disease*, improper watering techniques or tree at discount pricing.

To enjoy your newly planted trees and shrubs for years to come, please read and follow these guidelines:

• Water during periods of inadequate snow cover or rainfall in the fall and winter after your irrigation system is turned off.
• Determine the amount of water needed by digging down to a depth of 12 to 18 inches. If the soil at that depth feels powdery or crumbles, water the tree, Soil that forms a ball and clings together when squeezed contains adequate moisture. Remember: over watering results in oxygen starvation of the roots.
• Avoid frequent "light" watering's. This will promote shallow root systems susceptible to winter drying and summer heat stress.
• This Warranty is void with our proof and date of purchase.

* GH Daniels cannot guarantee that trees and shrubs will not be affected by airborne diseases such as Cytosporis once they are planted. We can guarantee that our products leave our facilities disease free.
